Camille and Dan dyed eggs last night in a new way (well, new for us anyway...)! Check out the pictures below as the wrap eggs in cool colored silk ties and then again in white fabric tying tightly. The eggs then sat for about 20 minutes in simmering water with a touch of white vinegar added. After cooling they were unwrapped and there you have beautiful eggs! We did them on white eggs this time but will add some more using brown eggs for a different effect.
I also added some pictures of Camille's incubator where she has a few eggs that she is trying to hatch - she turns them twice a day and candle's them every day to check for signs of life. Lets hope for little cheepers!! The picture shows only half the eggs - she now has about 25 going.
One more thing - please bear with me as I make some minor changes to this site. After Easter is over I will be adding new items and will also be making some changes to the Apothecary Shop to make it easier to shop!
Happy Spring/Easter/Ostara to all!
