Bamboo harvest was a task taken on this spring by Dan who then proceeded to use that harvest in various ways - we now have a really cool looking wind chime and a ring and it was also added to our goat area to hold up the hops and also to the gazebo - doesn't it looks great?!
Dan has also found the time to re-purpose an old filing cabinet which has now been turned into an evaporator. You may recall our maple sap harvest earlier this year and since it took way too long to evaporate it to syrup, Dan used his creativity and resourcefulness and made something that will work much better. Also planning on making our own sea salt so the next time we take a trip to the water, we will take some home and boil it down - I will keep you updated on that!
Apples, plums and pears are starting to grow. Rhubarb is ready of course but I am not sure what to do with that - any suggestions?
We also have a new addition to our animal clan, this little female rat that you see in the pictures below came with another little one but because the other one turned out to be a male so off he goes back to the teacher and to someone else who has other males. We do not need a gazillion baby rats! She is cute and is essentially nameless because Camille cannot commit; Dan and I have been calling her Dixie.
Please take a visit to my other pages SV Herbals, SV Aromatherapy, SV Yoga and SV Crystals to see what is for sale and the information that is there and contact me if you have any questions or suggestions! Each page will have its own specific information but put them all together and they form a great resource for learning how to naturally heal yourself.
Enjoy the pictures and we will catch up soon!
